Earlier, there were rumors that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 non-Ti would be launched in April. Along with those rumors, the latest news now states that the specific launch date will be on April 13, 2023.
This was revealed by the well-known leaker hongxing2020, who has a reliable track record and even accurately predicted the launch dates of the RTX 30 and RTX Series. This means that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 non-Ti will be available in just a month.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 non-Ti will be based on the AD104 GPU, which is also used in the RTX 4070 Ti, with fewer cores and lower clock speeds, but still carries the same memory specifications as the Ti model.
Reportedly, the RTX 4070 will come with 5,888 CUDA cores with a base clock of 1920MHz and a boost clock of 2475MHz. It will use 12GB GDDR6X memory with a 192-bit interface. Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 will have a TDP of 200W.
It is possible that we will receive further information on the launch of the latest graphics card from the RTX 40 Series at the GTC (GPU Technology Conference) 2023 event. NVIDIA’s Founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, will deliver the keynote address at the event.
